Proposed redesign of Lakeview Park DGC
The below map was our initial proposal for proactively reworking the course before any of the Lakeview Master Plan projects that will displace the current layout begin. In late 2022, the school built a BMX track where hole 16 might have been. Therefore, we will be redesigning and resubmitting another layout.
Proposed Projects for Lakeview Park Disc Golf Course
Disc Golf Course Improvement #1.
If any location is to be used for a retention pond and water feature it should be where there already exists a “dry” pond on hole #6 of the disc golf course.

Disc Golf Course Improvement #2.
If the committee is going to follow through with the proposed, extremely expense retention pond on hole 3 & 4 of the disc golf course, we suggest that it should include a jut out island, similar to the below image. This would actually improve the disc golf course rather than flood it. An island hole would also be considered the signature hole at Lakeview Park especially being nearest the road and would attract even more new players to the park beyond the over 1000 that came to town last year.
